Continuing from... scratch?

So, this is the first post after a long while.

My Webspace got cancelled, including my server. So this means, that Sirius Continuum (there is already a game called Sirius Online, those Bastards) is going to be developed from scratch. If you wish to participate, i'd be very happy about your help. Sirius Continuum is changing with its Online Community, which i will be introducing later.

SiriusBot returns to doom you!

Our IRCbot and therefore the Server Just returned to full work status!
I am currently implementing the client to the all-new launcher.

We also reduced Server load by parsing the login to a MySQL-Server. Login is now faster, doesn't harm the server environment and new accounts can be created independently of Server Status!

The New Client will be Released until Wednesday

Hello again!

We started to Update Server Codes. The old codes weren't really compatible to new technologies and got improved.

As a Result of this, we delayed Beta 1.1 into the Future and add even more Custom Generated Stuff.

Beta 1.0.0 is out and Mayor content Update 1.1.0


We finished Beta 1.0.0 and are preparing for the impact of Beta 1.1.0

- Ships have now Upgrade points

- You can now die... and respawn.
- Players are now Tagged if in right distance.
- Added public Spots like Asteroid Belts and Gas Clouds.

Servers are working!

Hello and Welcome, new Readers!

Our Servers are now readied up to server up to 256 Players without using Hamachi.
We will proceed uploading an online capable Client this evening.

Final Bugfixes are done, Chat should now work! We are going to test it this Afternoon.

-> Added Chat window
-> Fixed Bug, where players would not be created clientside
-> Changed Server to Dedicated
-> Server now Connects to IRC and posts news and Status Messages there.
-> You now can't fly into the planet anymore

Eweriwron haz his ship nao!

Thats some bad spelling my cat made... better don't let it make the PR stuff for me.

After some beginning issues we managed to get everyone into a ship now, so all players won't sit in the same ship, making it jumping around everywhere.

The Sirius Incident (Chapter One: Dawn)

Since Alpha Testing has started at 01.08.2011, we're now allowed to post some more info to TSI:
You start as a unemployed freshman pilot at the beginners station with a scout ship.
PvP is everywhere! No Newbie Protection.
Your beginner Ship is equipped with all necessary tools to harvest and plunder ships and asteroids. For more advanced materials you'll need to get into specialized ships.
Attribute system with Ship unlocking via stats.
Harvest Comets, Gas clouds and ship cemeteries.
